    Who this covers

Most Elevate Learning students are children. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who registers each child for the subjects they book. Children don't have accounts of their own, and we don't collect information directly from a child beyond what their parent provides or what happens in a class the parent has booked.

By creating an account you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of every child you register, and you give your consent for us to collect and use their information as described here (see “Children's information” below).

Who we are and how to reach us

Elevate Learning runs elevatelearning.us. You can email sibtainsaleh02@gmail.com, message your child's teacher or any Elevate Learning admin, or, once signed in, use Profile → Your data.

    What we collect

From you, when you sign up, register a child, book or take part in a class:

    • Parent/guardian: name, email address, and a phone number that works on WhatsApp (required, so your child's teacher can reach you), and a password (stored only in scrambled form; if you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name and email from them instead).
    • For each registered child: name, and, if you choose to give them, grade, prior experience, goals and learning-style notes.
    • About classes: bookings and their dates, whether a class was attended, cancelled or missed, payments and prepaid-points records, lesson and skill progress, code and projects the student writes, teacher notes, and what is drawn on the shared whiteboard or on presentation slides during a class.
    • Technical information that any website receives: your IP address and browser details appear in our hosting provider's server logs, and your browser keeps a sign-in cookie (see the Cookie policy).

    What we don't collect

We don't ask for more than we need to run the classes: no date of birth, home address, school name, photos or government ID. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't record classes.

  5. 05

    Live video classes

Classes happen over live video through our video provider (Daily). Sessions are not recorded or stored by Elevate Learning. Video and audio flow only between the people in the call for the duration of the class: the student, their teacher, and sometimes one or two Elevate Learning admins who join to support the class. Anything shown during the class (the whiteboard, slides, the code editor) is shared with the people in that class.

Please don't record, screenshot or share a class or other people's images without everyone's permission.

  6. 06

    How we use it

To run classes: matching students with teachers, scheduling, tracking curriculum progress, keeping records of payments and points, and letting teachers leave feedback. Your phone number is used so your child's teacher can call you or message you on WhatsApp about classes. We send account emails (such as a password reset) when email is switched on. We don't send marketing emails, we don't sell student data and we don't use it for advertising.

  7. 07

    Who can see it

A student's teacher can see that student's progress, submissions and notes, and the parent's phone number, so they can call or message you on WhatsApp, once the student has booked a class with them. Admins can see all of it to operate the platform. Other teachers and other families can't see it. A student's project is private unless it has been marked public.

    Services we use

We rely on a few companies to run the site. They handle information only to provide their service to us:

    • Daily (daily.co): the live video, audio and the messages that keep slides and pointers in step during a class.
    • Render hosts the website. Neon stores our database. Cloudflare routes traffic to the site.
    • Resend sends account emails such as password resets, when email is switched on.
    • Google and Apple: only if you choose “Sign in with Google/Apple”.
    • jsDelivr (a public software library host): delivers the Python engine that runs inside the browser in Python classes; your browser asks it for that file, which reveals your IP address to it.
    • WhatsApp (Meta): teachers may contact you there, using the number you gave us; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to those messages.
  9. 09

    Cookies and similar storage

We use only the cookies and browser storage that keep the site working: signing you in, protecting forms, and remembering small preferences. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. The details are in the Cookie policy.

  10. 10

    How long we keep it

We keep your account and your children's records while the account is open. When you ask us to delete a child's information we delete their profile, bookings, registrations, progress, submissions and notes. Records of payments and prepaid points are kept as financial records (they are never edited or removed), and a parent account with that history stays in a locked state rather than being erased. Copies may remain in routine backups for a short time after deletion.

  11. 11

    Children's information

We collect a child's information only from their parent or guardian, with that parent's consent, and only to teach them. We never sell it or use it to advertise to them. A parent can ask at any time to see what we hold about their child, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and can refuse any further collection by asking us to delete the child's information.

If you believe we have information about a child that a parent did not give us, tell us and we will remove it.

  12. 12

    Your choices and rights

You can review and update your own and your children's details from your Profile. To ask for a copy of your information, or for your or your child's information to be deleted, sign in, open Profile and use “Your data”, or contact us using the details above. We aim to answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (for example to object to or restrict how information is used); ask us and we will help.

  13. 13

    Security

The site uses HTTPS, passwords are stored in scrambled form, and what each person can see depends on their role (parent, teacher or admin). No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a problem that affects your information we will tell you.

  14. 14

    Changes to this policy

If we change how we use information, we will update this page and its date, and tell account holders about material changes.
